Instructor for Theater Classes.

 

Qualified candidates must have :

Theater, improv, dance or vocal experience

Ability to work as a team member .

Experience in working with children in a group setting.

Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient and willing to learn.


This class introduces fundamentals of rhythm, movement, and performance while promoting self-confidence through song, dance, and creative improv activities. Students learn fundamentals of theater performance. Salary based on level of participation and knowledge. CORI required. Must be 18 or older to apply

 


IMPROV Instructor/Assistant


Qualified candidates must have :

IMPROV and theater experience

Ability to work as a team member .

Experience in working with children in a group setting.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

 

Social Media Internship

 

Acting Out in Lawrence, MA has an immediate internship opening for a Social Media Communications Specialist.  We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual. This person will be responsible for designing, planning and implementing online marketing strategies using social media tools to promote acting classes and theatrical performances.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter and would be a great way to gain valuable experience in marketing and business.  A plus for your college resume and application, this internship is also a great way to earn community service hours.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience with Social Media, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem solving skills
  • Ability work efficiently in a team environment, articulate and contribute verbally
  • Ability to manage an editorial calendar
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to drive new business initiatives to increase online community usage, spot trends and track performance
  • Possess proofreading skills and strong attention to detail
  • Interact on blogs, discussion groups, newsletters and web sites
  • Research, write copy and develop content
  • Possess a positive attitude with a good sense of humor

                                                             

The right person must be available to work a few times a week to create a loyal, strong online community of users for Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.  The social media initiatives will be integrated with the Actingout.biz web site.
